(26) Say: O My slaves who have been prodigal to their own hurt! Despair not of the mercy of Allah, Who forgiveth all sins. Lo! He is the Forgiving, the Merciful.

(27) They say: Our Lord! Twice hast Thou made us die, and twice hast Thou made us live. Now we confess our sins. Is there any way to go out?

(28) Have they not travelled in the land to see the nature of the consequence for those who disbelieved before them? They were mightier than these in power and (in the) traces (which they left behind them) in the earth. Yet Allah seized them for their sins, and they had no protector from Allah.

(29) And those who shun the worst of sins and indecencies and, when they are wroth, forgive,

(30) O our people! respond to Allah's summoner and believe in Him. He will forgive you some of your sins and guard you from a painful doom.
