(121) Therefore bear up patiently as did the apostles endowed with constancy bear up with patience and do not seek to hasten for them (their doom). On the day that they shall see what they are promised they shall be as if they had not tarried save an hour of the day. A sufficient exposition! Shall then any be destroyed save the transgressing people?

(122) But if you held command, you were sure to make mischief in the land and cut off the ties of kinship!

(123) And most certainly We will try you until We have known those among you who exert themselves hard, and the patient, and made your case manifest.

(124) And if they wait patiently until you come out to them, it would certainly be better for them, and Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.

(125) And if two parties of the believers quarrel, make peace between them; but if one of them acts wrongfully towards the other, fight that which acts wrongfully until it returns to Allah's command; then if it returns, make peace between them with justice and act equitably; surely Allah loves those who act equitably.

(126) And how many a generation did We destroy before them who were mightier in prowess than they, so they went about and about in the lands. Is there a place of refuge?

(127) Therefore be patient of what they say, and sing the praise of your Lord before the rising of the sun and before the setting.

(128) Enter into it, then bear (it) patiently, or do not bear (it) patiently, it is the same to you; you shall be requited only (for) what you did.

(129) And wait patiently for the judgment of your Lord, for surely you are before Our eyes, and sing the praise of your Lord when you rise;

(130) And the overthrown cities did He overthrow,
