(82) And in the night-time also hymn His praise, and at the setting of the stars.

(84) Those who avoid enormities of sin and abominations, save the unwilled offences - (for them) lo! thy Lord is of vast mercy. He is Best Aware of you (from the time) when He created you from the earth, and when ye were hidden in the bellies of your mothers. Therefor ascribe not purity unto yourselves. He is Best Aware of him who wardeth off (evil).

(85) And the folk of Noah aforetime, Lo! they were more unjust and more rebellious;

(86) And a few of those of later time.

(87) And a multitude of those of later time.

(88) Say (unto them, O Muhammad): Lo! those of old and those of later time

(89) Is not the time ripe for the hearts of those who believe to submit to Allah's reminder and to the truth which is revealed, that they become not as those who received the scripture of old but the term was prolonged for them and so their hearts were hardened, and many of them are evil-livers.

(90) On the likeness of those (who suffered) a short time before them, they taste the ill-effects of their own conduct, and theirs is painful punishment.
