(3) And for their covenant we raised over them (the towering height) of Mount (sinai); and (on another occasion) we said: "Enter the gate with humility"; and (once again) we commanded them: "Transgress not in the matter of the sabbath." And we took from them a solemn covenant.

(4) And we called him from the right side of Mount (sinai), and made him draw near to Us, for mystic (converse).

(5) O ye Children of Israel! We delivered you from your enemy, and We made a Covenant with you on the right side of Mount (sinai), and We sent down to you Manna and quails:

(6) Also a tree springing out of Mount sinai, which produces oil, and relish for those who use it for food.

(7) And the Mount of sinai,
