(1) Allah said: "Therefore will the land be out of their reach for forty years: In distraction will they wander through the land: But sorrow thou not over these rebellious people.

(2) We (too) shall turn to (confusion) their hearts and their eyes, even as they refused to believe in this in the first instance: We shall leave them in their trespasses, to wander in distraction.

(3) To such as Allah rejects from His guidance, there can be no guide: He will leave them in their trespasses, wandering in distraction.

(6) Verily, by thy life (O Prophet), in their wild intoxication, they wander in distraction, to and fro.

(7) If We had mercy on them and removed the distress which is on them, they would obstinately persist in their transgression, wandering in distraction to and fro.

(8) As to those who believe not in the Hereafter, We have made their deeds pleasing in their eyes; and so they wander about in distraction.
