(23) (As for) those, their abode is the fire because of what they earned.

(24) And (as for) those who have earned evil, the punishment of an evil is the like of it, and abasement shall come upon them-- they shall have none to protect them from Allah-- as if their faces had been covered with slices of the dense darkness of night; these are the inmates of the fire; in it they shall abide.

(25) Then it shall be said to those who were unjust: Taste abiding chastisement; you are not requited except for what you earned.

(26) The parable of those who disbelieve in their Lord: their actions are like ashes on which the wind blows hard on a stormy day; they shall not have power over any thing out of what they have earned; this is the great error.

(27) That Allah may requite each soul (according to) what it has earned; surely Allah is swift in reckoning.

(28) And what they earned did not avail them.

(29) Surely they who concocted the lie are a party from among you. Do not regard it an evil to you; nay, it is good for you. Every man of them shall have what he has earned of sin; and (as for) him who took upon himself the main part thereof, he shall have a grievous chastisement.

(30) Is it not a sign to them that the learned men of the Israelites know it?
