(252) Lodge them where ye dwell, according to your wealth, and harass them not so as to straiten life for them. And if they are with child, then spend for them till they bring forth their burden. Then, if they give suck for you, give them their due payment and consult together in kindness; but if ye make difficulties for one another, then let some other woman give suck for him (the father of the child).

(253) (Then it will be said): O ye who disbelieve! make no excuses for yourselves this day. Ye are only being paid for what ye used to do.

(254) That We might make it a memorial for you, and that remembering ears (that heard the story) might remember.

(255) And afterward He maketh you return thereto, and He will bring you forth again, a (new) forthbringing.

(257) Lo! We create man from a drop of thickened fluid to test him; so We make him hearing, knowing.

(258) He maketh whom He will to enter His mercy, and for evil-doers hath prepared a painful doom.

(259) Then maketh the way easy for him,

(260) Every man that day will have concern enough to make him heedless (of others).
