(111) Then have patience (O Muhammad). Lo! the promise of Allah is true. And ask forgiveness of thy sin, and hymn the praise of thy Lord at fall of night and in the early hours.

(112) He is the Living One. There is no Allah save Him. So pray unto Him, making religion pure for Him (only). Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds!

(113) Falsehood cannot come at it from before it or from behind it. (It is) a revelation from the Wise, the Owner of Praise.

(114) Almost might the heavens above be rent asunder while the angels hymn the praise of their Lord and ask forgiveness for those on the earth. Lo! Allah, He is the Forgiver, the Merciful.

(115) And He it is Who sendeth down the saving rain after they have despaired, and spreadeth out His mercy. He is the Protecting Friend, the Praiseworthy.

(116) Is it they who apportion thy Lord's mercy? We have apportioned among them their livelihood in the life of the world, and raised some of them above others in rank that some of them may take labour from others; and the mercy of thy Lord is better than (the wealth) that they amass.

(117) And say: Are our gods better, or is he? They raise not the objection save for argument. Nay! but they are a contentious folk.

(118) There is naught but our first death, and we shall not be raised again.

(119) Then praise be to Allah, Lord of the heavens and Lord of the earth, the Lord of the Worlds.

(120) Therefor (O Muhammad) bear with what they say, and hymn the praise of thy Lord before the rising and before the setting of the sun;
