(691) So bear with patience (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) all that they say, and glorify the Praises of your Lord, before the rising of the sun and before (its) setting (i.e. the Fajr, Zuhr, and 'Asr prayers) .

(692) We know best what they say. And you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) are not the one to force them (to Belief). But warn by the Qur'an; him who fears My Threat.

(693) And placed it before them, (saying): "Will you not eat?"

(694) They said: "Even so says your Lord. Verily, He is the All-Wise, the All-Knower."

(695) Have they (the people of the past) transmitted this saying to these (Quraish pagans)? Nay, they are themselves a people transgressing beyond bounds (in disbelief)!

(696) saying: "Aforetime, we were afraid (of the punishment of Allah) in the midst of our families.

(697) Therefore, remind (mankind of Islamic Monotheism, O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم). By the Grace of Allah, you are neither a soothsayer, nor a madman.

(698) Or do they say: "(Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) is a poet! We await for him some calamity by time!"

(699) say (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم to them): "Wait! I am with you among the waiters!"

(700) Or do they say: "He (Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) has forged it (this Qur'an)?" Nay! They believe not!
