(791) The day on which their struggle shall not avail them aught, nor shall they be helped.

(792) They are naught but names which you have named, you and your fathers; Allah has not sent for them any authority. They follow naught but conjecture and the low desires which (their) souls incline to; and certainly the guidance has come to them from their Lord.

(793) That is their goal of knowledge; surely your Lord knows best him who goes astray from His path and He knows best him who follows the right direction.

(794) And they call (it) a lie, and follow their low desires; and every affair has its appointed term.

(795) their eyes cast down, going forth from their graves as if they were scattered locusts,

(796) But they called their companion, so he took (the sword) and slew (her).

(797) And certainly they endeavored to turn him from his guests, but We blinded their eyes; so taste My chastisement and My warning.

(798) Soon shall the hosts be routed, and they shall turn (their) backs.

(799) Nay, the hour is their promised time, and the hour shall be most grievous and bitter.

(800) On the day when they shall be dragged upon their faces into the fire; taste the touch of hell.
