(71) Do you not see that Allah sends down water from the cloud, then makes it go along in the earth in springs, then brings forth therewith herbage of various colors, then it withers so that you see it becoming yellow, then He makes it a thing crushed and broken into pieces? Most surely there is a reminder in this for the men of understanding.

(72) Or have they taken intercessors besides Allah? Say: what! even though they did not ever have control over anything, nor do they understand.

(73) A guidance and a reminder to the men of understanding.

(74) He it is Who created you from dust, then from a small lifegerm, then from a clot, then He brings you forth as a child, then that you may attain your maturity, then that you may be old-- and of you there are some who are caused to die before-- and that you may reach an appointed term, and that you may understand.

(75) Surely We have made it an Arabic Quran that you may understand.

(76) And (in) the variation of the night and the day, and (in) what Allah sends down of sustenance from the cloud, then gives life thereby to the earth after its death, and (in) the changing of the winds, there are signs for a people who understand.

(77) Those who are left behind will say when you set forth for the gaining of acquisitions: Allow us (that) we may follow you. They desire to change the world of Allah. Say: By no means shall you follow us; thus did Allah say before. But they will say: Nay! you are jealous of us. Nay! they do not understand but a little.

(78) (As for) those who call out to you from behind the private chambers, surely most of them do not understand.

(79) Nay! do their understandings bid them this? Or are they an inordinate people?

(80) Know that Allah gives life to the earth after its death; indeed, We have made the communications clear to you that you may understand.
