(231) And on the day when We will raise up a witness out of every nation, then shall no permission be given to those who disbelieve, nor shall they be made to solicit favor.
(232) And on the day when We will raise up in every people a witness against them from among themselves, and bring you as a witness against these-- and We have revealed the Book to you explaining clearly everything, and a guidance and mercy and good news for those who submit.
(233) Surely Ibrahim was an exemplar, obedient to Allah, upright, and he was not of the polytheists.
(234) Then We revealed to you: Follow the faith of Ibrahim, the upright one, and he was not of the polytheists.
(235) Surely this Quran guides to that which is most upright and gives good news to the believers who do good that they shall have a great reward.
(236) See how We have made some of them to excel others, and certainly the hereafter is much superior in respect of excellence.
(237) And make yourself submissively gentle to them with compassion, and say: O my Lord! have compassion on them, as they brought me up (when I was) little.
(238) And they say: What! when we shall have become bones and decayed particles, shall we then certainly be raised up, being a new creation?
(239) Those whom they call upon, themselves seek the means of access to their Lord-- whoever of them is nearest-- and they hope for His mercy and fear His chastisement; surely the chastisement of your Lord is a thing to be cautious of.
(240) Keep up prayer from the declining of the sun till the darkness of the night and the morning recitation; surely the morning recitation is witnessed.
