(38) So how many a town did We destroy while it was unjust, so it was fallen down upon its roofs, and (how many a) deserted well and palace raised high.

(39) So they rejected them and became of those who were destroyed.

(40) Then We said: Go you both to the people who rejected Our communications; so We destroyed them with utter destruction.
