(14) Lo! We it is Who bring the dead to life. We record that which they send before (them, and their footprints. And all things We have kept in a clear Register.

(15) But they make haste (to follow) in their footsteps.

(16) When there were shown to him at eventide lightfooted coursers

(17) (And it was said unto him): Strike the ground with thy foot. This (spring) is a cool bath and a refreshing drink.

(18) Nay, for they say only: Lo! we found our fathers following a religion, and we are guided by their footprints.

(19) And even so We sent not a warner before thee (Muhammad) into any township but its luxurious ones said: Lo! we found our fathers following a religion, and we are following their footprints.

(20) O ye who believe! If ye help Allah, He will help you and will make your foothold firm.
