(41) So when they saw it as a cloud appearing in the sky advancing towards their valleys, they said: This is a cloud which will give us rain. Nay! it is what you sought to hasten on, a blast of wind in which is a painful punishment,

(42) And We send down from the cloud water abounding in good, then We cause to grow thereby gardens and the grain that is reaped,

(43) And the grain with (its) husk and fragrance.

(44) In them shall be those who restrained their eyes; before them neither man nor jinni shall have touched them.

(45) Know that this world's life is only sport and play and gaiety and boasting among yourselves, and a vying in the multiplication of wealth and children, like the rain, whose causing the vegetation to grow, pleases the husbandmen, then it withers away so that you will see it become yellow, then it becomes dried up and broken down; and in the hereafter is a severe chastisement and (also) forgiveness from Allah and (His) pleasure; and this world's life is naught but means of deception.

(46) He will send down upon you the cloud, pouring down abundance of rain:

(47) Then We cause to grow therein the grain,

(48) I swear by the raingiving heavens,
