(1052) Tell Me, (even) if We do let them enjoy for years,

(1054) All that with which they used to enjoy shall not avail them.

(1055) Neither would it suit them, nor they can (produce it).

(1056) Who gives ear (to the devils and they pour what they may have heard of the Unseen from the angels), and most of them are liars.

(1057) As for the poets, the erring ones follow them,

(1058) Except those who believe (in the Oneness of Allah - Islamic Monotheism) and do righteous deeds, and remember Allah much, and vindicate themselves after they have been wronged [by replying back in poetry to the unjust poetry (which the pagan poets utter against the Muslims)]. And those who do wrong will come to know by what overturning they will be overturned.

(1059) Verily, those who believe not in the Hereafter, We have made their deeds fair-seeming to them, so that they wander about blindly.

(1060) But when Our Ayat (proofs, evidence, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) came to them, clear to see, they said: "This is a manifest magic."
