(2032) With their eyes lowered in fear and humility, ignominy covering them (all over)! That is the Day which they were promised!

(2033) And verily, every time I called unto them that You might forgive them, they thrust their fingers into their ears, covered themselves up with their garments, and persisted (in their refusal), and magnified themselves in pride.

(2034) Nuh (Noah) said: "My Lord! they have disobeyed me, and followed one whose wealth and children give him no increase but loss.

(2035) "And they have plotted a mighty plot.

(2036) "And they have said: 'You shall not leave your gods: nor shall you leave Wadd, nor Suwa', nor Yaghuth, nor Ya'uq nor Nasr' (these are the names of their idols).

(2037) "And indeed they have led many astray. And (O Allah): 'Grant no increase to the Zalimun (polytheists, wrong-doers, and disbelievers) save error.'"

(2038) Because of their sins they were drowned, then were made to enter the Fire. And they found none to help them instead of Allah.

(2039) "If You leave them, they will mislead Your slaves, and they will beget none but wicked disbelievers.

(2040) Say (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم): "It has been revealed to me that a group (from three to ten in number) of jinn listened (to this Qur'an). they said: 'Verily, we have heard a wonderful Recitation (this Qur'an)!
