(15) And they were pursued by a Curse in this life,- and on the Day of Judgment. Ah! Behold! for the 'Ad rejected their Lord and cherisher! Ah! Behold! removed (from sight) were 'Ad the people of Hud!

(16) As if they had never dwelt and flourished there. Ah! Behold! for the Thamud rejected their Lord and cherisher! Ah! Behold! removed (from sight) were the Thamud!

(17) So his fruits (and enjoyment) were encompassed (with ruin), and he remained twisting and turning his hands over what he had spent on his property, which had (now) tumbled to pieces to its very foundations, and he could only say, "Woe is me! Would I had never ascribed partners to my Lord and cherisher!"

(18) Verily, this brotherhood of yours is a single brotherhood, and I am your Lord and cherisher: therefore serve Me (and no other).

(19) And verily this Brotherhood of yours is a single Brotherhood, and I am your Lord and cherisher: therefore fear Me (and no other).

(20) "So go forth, both of you, to Pharaoh, and say: 'We have been sent by the Lord and cherisher of the worlds;
