(15) To Pharaoh and his chiefs: But these behaved insolently: they were an arrogant people.

(16) (Pharaoh) said to the chiefs around him: "This is indeed a sorcerer well-versed:

(17) (The queen) said: "Ye chiefs! here is delivered to me - a letter worthy of respect.

(18) She said: "Ye chiefs! advise me in (this) my affair: no affair have I decided except in your presence."

(19) He said (to his own men): "Ye chiefs! which of you can bring me her throne before they come to me in submission?"

(20) And there came a man, running, from the furthest end of the City. He said: "O Moses! the chiefs are taking counsel together about thee, to slay thee: so get thee away, for I do give thee sincere advice."
