(34) O you who believe! Make not (a decision) in advance before Allah and His Messenger (صلى الله عليه وسلم), and fear Allah. Verily! Allah is All-Hearing, All-Knowing.

(35) So wait patiently (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) for the decision of your Lord, for verily, you are under Our Eyes ; and glorify the Praises of your Lord when you get up from sleep.

(36) His is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth. And to Allah return all the matters (for decision).

(37) No calamity befalls, but by the Leave [i.e. decision and Qadar (Divine Preordainments)] of Allah, and whosoever believes in Allah, He guides his heart [to the true Faith with certainty, i.e. what has befallen him was already written for him by Allah from the Qadar (Divine Preordainments)]. And Allah is the All-Knower of everything.

(38) So wait with patience for the decision of your Lord, and be not like the Companion of the Fish - when he cried out (to Us) while he was in deep sorrow. (See the Qur'an, Verse 21:87).

(39) That will be a Day of decision! We have brought you and the men of old together!

(40) Verily, the Day of decision is a fixed time,
