(23) Hast thou seen him who chooseth for his god his own lust? Wouldst thou then be guardian over him?

(24) They will say: Be Thou Glorified. Thou (alone) art our guardian, not them! Nay, but they worshipped the jinn; most of them were believers in them.

(25) Allah is Creator of all things, and He is guardian over all things.

(26) And as for those who choose protecting friends beside Him, Allah is Warden over them, and thou art in no wise a guardian over them.

(27) He is Allah, than Whom there is no other Allah, the Sovereign Lord, the Holy One, Peace, the Keeper of Faith, the guardian, the Majestic, the Compeller, the Superb. Glorified be Allah from all that they ascribe as partner (unto Him).

(28) Lo! there are above you guardians,

(29) Yet they were not sent as guardians over them.

(30) No human soul but hath a guardian over it.
