(61) The only saying of the faithful believers, when they are called to Allah (His Words, the Qur'an) and His Messenger (صلى الله عليه وسلم), to judge between them, is that they say: "We hear and we obey." And such are the successful (who will live forever in Paradise).

(62) "So I fled from you when I feared you. But my Lord has granted me Hukm (i.e. religious knowledge, right judgement of the affairs and Prophethood), and made me one of the Messengers.

(63) My Lord! Bestow Hukm (religious knowledge, right judgement of the affairs and Prophethood) on me, and join me with the righteous.

(64) Therefore judge You between me and them, and save me and those of the believers who are with me."

(65) Verily, your Lord will decide between them (various sects) by His judgement. And He is the All-Mighty, the All-Knowing.

(66) And when he attained his full strength, and was perfect (in manhood), We bestowed on him Hukm (Prophethood and right judgement of the affairs) and religious knowledge [of the religion of his forefathers i.e. Islamic Monotheism]. And thus do We reward the Muhsinun (i.e. good doers. See the footnote of V.9:120).

(67) Or think those who do evil deeds that they can outstrip Us (i.e. escape Our punishment)? Evil is that which they judge!

(68) Verily, your Lord will judge between them, on the Day of Resurrection, concerning that wherein they used to differ.

(69) Say: "Our Lord will assemble us all together (on the Day of Resurrection), then He will judge between us with truth. And He is the Just judge, the All-Knower of the true state of affairs [Tafsir Ibn Kathir]

(70) (It will be said): "This is the Day of judgement which you used to deny."
