(151) Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وسلم) is the Messenger of Allah. And those who are with him are severe against disbelievers, and merciful among themselves. You see them bowing and falling down prostrate (in prayer), seeking Bounty from Allah and (His) Good Pleasure. The mark of them (i.e. of their Faith) is on their faces (foreheads) from the traces of prostration (during prayers). This is their description in the Taurat (Torah). But their description in the Injeel (Gospel) is like a (sown) seed which sends forth its shoot, then makes it strong, and becomes thick and it stands straight on its stem, delighting the sowers, that He may enrage the disbelievers with them. Allah has promised those among them who believe (i.e. all those who follow Islamic Monotheism, the religion of Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم till the Day of Resurrection) and do righteous good deeds, forgiveness and a mighty reward (i.e. Paradise).

(152) Taking joy in the things which their Lord has given them. Verily, they were before this Muhsinun (good-doers. See V.2:112).

(153) They used to sleep but little by night [invoking their Lord (Allah) and praying, with fear and hope].

(154) And in the hours before dawn, they were (found) asking (Allah) for forgiveness.

(155) But they insolently defied the Command of their Lord, so the Sa'iqah overtook them while they were looking.

(156) On the Day when the heaven will shake with a dreadful shaking,

(157) Plucking out men as if they were uprooted stems of date-palms.

(158) And they indeed sought to shame his guest (by asking to commit sodomy with them). So We blinded their eyes, (saying) "Then taste you My Torment and My Warnings."

(159) In a seat of truth (i.e. Paradise), near the Omnipotent king (Allah, the One, the All-Blessed, the Most High, the Owner of Majesty and Honour).

(160) And instead (of thanking Allah) for the provision He gives you, you deny (Him by disbelief)!
