(1654) And all, all that is on earth,- so it could deliver him:

(1655) Now what is the matter with the Unbelievers that they rush madly before thee-

(1656) Now I do call to witness the Lord of all points in the East and the West that We can certainly-

(1657) So leave them to plunge in vain talk and play about, until they encounter that Day of theirs which they have been promised!-

(1658) "that ye should worship Allah, fear Him and obey me:

(1659) "And every time I have called to them, that Thou mightest forgive them, they have (only) thrust their fingers into their ears, covered themselves up with their garments, grown obstinate, and given themselves up to arrogance.

(1660) "'What is the matter with you, that ye place not your hope for kindness and long-suffering in Allah,-
