(81) And indeed We gave Musa (Moses) the Scripture [the Taurat (Torah)] So be not you in doubt of meeting him [i.e. when you met Musa (Moses) during the night of Al-Isra' and Al-Mi'raj over the heavens]. And We made it [the Taurat (Torah)] a guide to the children of Israel.

(82) And We made from among them (children of Israel), leaders, giving guidance under Our Command, when they were patient and used to believe with certainty in Our Ayat (proofs, evidence, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.).

(83) And they say: "We are more in wealth and in children, and we are not going to be punished."

(84) And it is not your wealth, nor your children that bring you nearer to Us (i.e. please Allah), but only he who believes (in the Islamic Monotheism), and does righteous deeds (will please Us); as for such, there will be twofold reward for what they did, and they will reside in the high dwellings (Paradise) in peace and security.

(85) Did I not command you, O children of Adam, that you should not worship Shaitan (Satan). Verily, he is a plain enemy to you.

(86) And, indeed We gave Musa (Moses) the guidance, and We caused the children of Israel to inherit the Scripture [i.e. the Taurat (Torah)] -

(87) Yet, they assign to some of His slaves a share with Him (by pretending that He has children, and considering them as equals or co-partners in worship with Him). Verily, man is indeed a manifest ingrate!

(88) He ['Îsa (Jesus)] was not more than a slave. We granted Our Favour to him, and We made him an example for the children of Israel (i.e. his creation without a father).

(89) Say (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه و سلم): "If the Most Gracious (Allah) had a son (or children as you pretend), then I am the first of Allah's worshippers [who deny and refute this claim of yours (and the first to believe in Allah Alone and testify that He has no children)]." [Tafsir At-Tabari].

(90) Saying: "Deliver to me the slaves of Allah (i.e. the children of Israel). Verily, I am to you a Messenger worthy of all trust.
