(22) It is He Who has created you from dust then from a sperm-drop, then from a leech-like clot; then does he get you out (into the light) as a child: then lets you (grow and) reach your age of full strength; then lets you become old,- though of you there are some who die before;- and lets you reach a Term appointed; in order that ye may learn wisdom.

(23) "What! When we die and become dust, (shall we live again?) That is a (sort of) return far (from our understanding)."

(24) Becoming dust scattered abroad,

(25) And they used to say, "What! when we die and become dust and bones, shall we then indeed be raised up again?-

(26) Those who resist Allah and His Messenger will be humbled to dust, as were those before them: for We have already sent down Clear Signs. And the Unbelievers (will have) a humiliating Penalty,-

(27) When the mountains are scattered (to the winds) as dust;

(28) Verily, We have warned you of a Penalty near, the Day when man will see (the deeds) which his hands have sent forth, and the Unbeliever will say, "Woe unto me! Would that I were (metre) dust!"

(29) And other faces that Day will be dust-stained,

(30) Or to the indigent (down) in the dust.
