(103) So leave them to babble and play (with vanities) until they meet that Day of theirs, which they have been promised.

(104) "And leave the sea as a furrow (divided): for they are a host (destined) to be drowned."

(105) So leave them alone until they encounter that Day of theirs, wherein they shall (perforce) swoon (with terror),-

(106) How many-so-ever be the angels in the heavens, their intercession will avail nothing except after Allah has given leave for whom He pleases and that he is acceptable to Him.

(107) Also corn, with (its) leaves and stalk for fodder, and sweet-smelling plants.

(108) Whether ye cut down (O ye Muslim!) The tender palm-trees, or ye left them standing on their roots, it was by leave of Allah, and in order that He might cover with shame the rebellious transgresses.

(109) And those who came after them say: "Our Lord! Forgive us, and our brethren who came before us into the Faith, and leave not, in our hearts, rancour (or sense of injury) against those who have believed. Our Lord! Thou art indeed Full of Kindness, Most Merciful."

(110) Had We sent down this Qur'an on a mountain, verily, thou wouldst have seen it humble itself and cleave asunder for fear of Allah. Such are the similitudes which We propound to men, that they may reflect.
