(153) O Prophet! When ye (men) put away women, put them away for their (legal) period and reckon the period, and keep your duty to Allah, your Lord. Expel them not from their houses nor let them go forth unless they commit open immorality. Such are the limits (imposed by) Allah; and whoso transgresseth Allah's limits, he verily wrongeth his soul. Thou knowest not: it may be that Allah will afterward bring some new thing to pass.

(154) O Prophet! Strive against the disbelievers and the hypocrites, and be stern with them. Hell will be their home, a hapless journey's end.

(155) Blessed is He in Whose hand is the Sovereignty, and, He is Able to do all things.

(156) And for those who disbelieve in their Lord there is the doom of hell, a hapless journey's end!

(157) Till (the day) when they shall behold that which they are promised (they may doubt); but then they will know (for certain) who is weaker in allies and less in multitude.

(158) And they will not heed unless Allah willeth (it). He is the fount of fear. He is the fount of Mercy.

(159) Thinketh man that he is to be left aimless?

(160) Yet ye will not, unless Allah willeth. Lo! Allah is Knower, Wise.
