(13) And surely Hell is the promised place of them all:

(14) The gardens of perpetuity which the Beneficent Allah has promised to His servants while unseen; surely His promise shall come to pass.

(15) The great fearful event shall not grieve them, and the angels shall meet them: This is your day which you were promised.

(16) And when Our clear communications are recited to them you will find denial on the faces of those who disbelieve; they almost spring upon those who recite to them Our communications. Say: Shall I inform you of what is worse than this? The fire; Allah has promised it to those who disbelieve; and how evil the resort!

(17) Certainly we are promised this, and (so were) our fathers aforetime; this is naught but stories of those of old.

(18) Allah has promised to those of you who believe and do good that He will most certainly make them rulers in the earth as He made rulers those before them, and that He will most certainly establish for them their religion which He has chosen for them, and that He will most certainly, after their fear, give them security in exchange; they shall serve Me, not associating aught with Me; and whoever is ungrateful after this, these it is who are the. transgressors.

(19) Say: Is this better or the abiding garden which those who guard (against evil) are promised? That shall be a reward and a resort for them.

(20) We have certainly been promised this, we and our fathers before; these are naught but stories of the ancients
