(83) "Then, O my Lord! put me not amongst the people who do wrong!"

(84) Why did not the believers - men and women - when ye heard of the affair,- put the best construction on it in their own minds and say, "This (charge) is an obvious lie"?

(85) But the misbelievers say: "Naught is this but a lie which he has forged, and others have helped him at it." In truth it is they who have put forward an iniquity and a falsehood.

(86) And put thy trust in Him Who lives and dies not; and celebrate his praise; and enough is He to be acquainted with the faults of His servants;-

(87) (Pharaoh) said: "If thou dost put forward any god other than me, I will certainly put thee in prison!"

(88) And put thy trust on the Exalted in Might, the Merciful,-

(89) "Now put thy hand into thy bosom, and it will come forth white without stain (or harm): (these are) among the nine Signs (thou wilt take) to Pharaoh and his people: for they are a people rebellious in transgression."

(90) So put thy trust in Allah: for thou art on (the path of) manifest Truth.
