(22) Deem not the summons of the Messenger among yourselves like the summons of one of you to another: Allah doth know those of you who slip away under shelter of some excuse: then let those beware who withstand the Messenger's order, lest some trial befall them, or a grievous penalty be inflicted on them.

(23) And the messengers whom We sent before thee were all (men) who ate food and walked through the streets: We have made some of you as a trial for others: will ye have patience? for Allah is One Who sees (all things).

(24) They said: "Ill omen do we augur from thee and those that are with thee". He said: "Your ill omen is with Allah; yea, ye are a people under trial."

(25) For We have truly made it (as) a trial for the wrong-doers.

(26) For this was obviously a trial-

(27) Now, when trouble touches man, he cries to Us: But when We bestow a favour upon him as from Ourselves, he says, "This has been given to me because of a certain knowledge (I have)!" Nay, but this is but a trial, but most of them understand not!

(28) And granted them Signs in which there was a manifest trial

(29) "Taste ye your trial! This is what ye used to ask to be hastened!"

(30) For We will send the she-camel by way of trial for them. So watch them, (O Salih), and possess thyself in patience!
