(65) And the chieftains of his folk, who disbelieved and denied the meeting of the Hereafter, and whom We had made soft in the life of the world, said: This is only a mortal like you, who eateth of that whereof ye eat and drinketh of that ye drink.

(66) And he had read it unto them, they would not have believed in it.

(67) And we saved those who believed and used to ward off (evil).

(68) And Lot believed him, and said: Lo! I am a fugitive unto my Lord. Lo! He, only He, is the Mighty, the Wise.

(69) As for those who believed and did good works, they will be made happy in a Garden.

(70) But as for those who disbelieved and denied Our revelations, and denied the meeting of the Hereafter, such will be brought to doom.
