(31) And (remember) when you said to him (Zaid bin Harithah رضي الله عنه - the freed-slave of the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم) on whom Allah has bestowed Grace (by guiding him to Islam) and you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم too) have done favour (by manumitting him): "Keep your wife to yourself, and fear Allah." But you did hide in yourself (i.e. what Allah has already made known to you that He will give her to you in marriage) that which Allah will make manifest, you did fear the people (i.e., their saying that Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم married the divorced wife of his manumitted slave) whereas Allah had a better right that you should fear Him. So when Zaid had accomplished his desire from her (i.e. divorced her), We gave her to you in marriage, so that (in future) there may be no difficulty to the believers in respect of (the marriage of) the wives of their adopted sons when the latter have no desire to keep them (i.e. they have divorced them). And Allah's Command must be fulfilled.
(32) And they say: "When will this promise (i.e. Resurrection) be fulfilled, if you are truthful?"
(33) Truly, they will eat thereof and fill their bellies therewith.
(34) You have fulfilled the dream!" Verily thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers - See 2:112).
(35) That I will fill Hell with you [Iblis (Satan)] and those of them (mankind) that follow you, together."
(36) And when Allah Alone is mentioned, the hearts of those who believe not in the Hereafter are filled with disgust (from the Oneness of Allah توحيد الله) and when those (whom they obey or worship) besides Him [like all false deities other than Allah, - it may be a Messenger, an angel, a pious man, a jinni, or any other creature even idols, graves of religious people, saints, priests, monks and others.] are mentioned, behold, they rejoice!
(37) And they will say: "All the praises and thanks be to Allah Who has fulfilled His Promise to us and has made us inherit (this) land. We can dwell in Paradise where we will; how excellent a reward for the (pious, good) workers!"
(38) And if one of them is informed of the news of (the birth of a girl) that which he sets forth as a parable to the Most Gracious (Allah), his face becomes dark, and he is filled with grief!
(39) On the Day when We will say to Hell: "Are you filled?" It will say: "Are there any more (to come)?"
(40) And by the sea kept filled (or it will be fire kindled on the Day of Resurrection).
