(181) O you who believe! Be you helpers (in the Cause) of Allah as said 'Îsa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary), to the Hawariyyun (the disciples): "Who are my helpers (in the Cause) of Allah?" The Hawariyyun (the disciples) said: "We are Allah's helpers" (i.e. we will strive in His Cause!). Then a group of the Children of Israel believed and a group disbelieved. So We gave power to those who believed against their enemies, and they became the victorious (uppermost).

(182) If you two (wives of the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم : 'Aishah and Hafsah رضي الله عنهما) turn in repentance to Allah, (it will be better for you), your hearts are indeed so inclined (to oppose what the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم likes); but if you help one another against him (Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم), then verily, Allah is his Maula (Lord, or Master, or Protector), and Jibril (Gabriel), and the righteous among the believers; and furthermore, the angels are his helpers.

(183) Who is he besides the Most Gracious that can be an army to you to help you? The disbelievers are in nothing but delusion.

(184) Though they shall be made to see one another [(i.e. on the Day of Resurrection), there will be none but see his father, children and relatives, but he will neither speak to them nor will ask them for any help]. The Mujrim, (criminal, sinner, disbeliever) would desire to ransom himself from the punishment of that Day by his children,

(185) Because of their sins they were drowned, then were made to enter the Fire. And they found none to help them instead of Allah.

(186) Till, when they see that which they are promised, then they will know who it is that is weaker concerning helpers and less important concerning numbers.

(187) Then he will have no power, nor any helper.

(188) Then let him call upon his council (of helpers).

(189) When there comes the help of Allah (to you, O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم against your enemies) and the conquest (of Makkah).
