(23) Seest thou not how Allah sendeth down water from the sky and then the earth becometh green upon the morrow? Lo! Allah is Subtile, Aware.

(24) And we send down from the sky water in measure, and We give it lodging in the earth, and lo! We are Able to withdraw it.

(25) And He it is Who sendeth the winds, glad tidings heralding His mercy, and We send down purifying water from the sky,

(26) If We will, We can send down on them from the sky a portent so that their necks would remain bowed before it.

(27) Is not He (best) Who created the heavens and the earth, and sendeth down for you water from the sky wherewith We cause to spring forth joyous orchards, whose trees it never hath been yours to cause to grow. Is there any Allah beside Allah? Nay, but they are folk who ascribe equals (unto Him)!

(28) Ye cannot escape (from Him) in the earth or in the sky, and beside Allah there is for you no friend or helper.

(29) Lo! We are about to bring down upon the folk of this township a fury from the sky because they are evil-livers.

(30) And if thou wert to ask them: Who causeth water to come down from the sky, and therewith reviveth the earth after its death? they verily would say: Allah. Say: Praise be to Allah! But most of them have no sense.
