Thus (are ye commanded): but if it had been Allah's Will, He could certainly have exacted retribution from them (Himself); but (He lets you fight) in order to test you, some with others. But those who are slain in the Way of Allah,- He will never let their deeds be lost.

(132) They will say: "Aforetime, we were not without fear for the sake of our people.

(133) Or do they say:- "A Poet! we await for him some calamity (hatched) by time!"

(134) Wasting your time in vanities?

(135) They reject (the warning) and follow their (own) lusts but every matter has its appointed time.

(136) And We have left this as a Sign (for all time): then is there any that will receive admonition?

(137) To the People of Pharaoh, too, aforetime, came Warners (from Allah).

(138) Nay, the Hour (of Judgment) is the time promised them (for their full recompense): And that Hour will be most grievous and most bitter.

(139) But for such as fear the time when they will stand before (the Judgment Seat of) their Lord, there will be two Gardens-

(140) And a few from those of later times.
