(182) And Nuh's (Noah) people, when they denied the Messengers, We drowned them, and We made them as a sign for mankind. And We have prepared a painful torment for the Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doers).

(183) "He would have nearly misled us from our alihah (gods), had it not been that we were patient and constant in their worship!" And they will know when they see the torment, who it is that is most astray from the (Right) Path!

(185) The torment will be doubled to him on the Day of Resurrection, and he will abide therein in disgrace;

(186) Say (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم to the disbelievers): "My Lord pays attention to you only because of your invocation to Him. But now you have indeed denied (Him). So the torment will be yours for ever (inseparable, permanent punishment)."

(187) "Verily, I fear for you the torment of a Great Day."

(188) "And touch her not with harm, lest the torment of a Great Day should seize you."

(189) So the torment overtook them. Verily, in this is indeed a sign, yet most of them are not believers.

(190) And We rained on them a rain (of torment). And how evil was the rain of those who had been warned!
