(23) To Firon and Haman and Qaroun, but they said: A lying magician.

(24) And when there came to them the truth they said: This is magic, and surely we are disbelievers in it.

(25) And they said: O magician! call on your Lord for our sake, as He has made the covenant with you; we shall surely be the followers of the right way.

(26) And when Our clear communications are recited to them, those who disbelieve say with regard to the truth when it comes to them: This is clear magic.

(27) But he turned away with his forces and said: A magician or a mad man.

(28) Thus there did not come to those before them an apostle but they said: A magician or a mad man.

(29) Is it magic then or do you not see?

(30) And if they see a miracle they turn aside and say: Transient magic.
