(26) And as to Samood, We showed them the right way, but they chose error above guidance, so there overtook them the scourge of an abasing chastisement for what they earned.

(27) And We did not show them a sign but it was greater than its like, and We overtook them with chastisement that they may turn.

(28) But they revolted against the commandment of their Lord, so the rumbling overtook them while they saw.

(29) And certainly a lasting chastisement overtook them in the morning.

(30) They rejected all Our communications, so We overtook them after the manner of a Mighty, Powerful One.
