(71) They fight not against you even together, except in fortified townships, or from behind walls. Their enmity among themselves is very great. You would think they were united, but their hearts are divided. That is because they are a people who understand not.

(72) And when you look at them, their bodies please you; and when they speak, you listen to their words. They are as blocks of wood propped up. They think that every cry is against them. They are the enemies, so beware of them. May Allah curse them! How are they denying (or deviating from) the Right Path?

(73) And they went in the morning with strong intention, thinking that they have power (to prevent the poor taking anything of the fruits therefrom).

(74) 'And we think that we cannot escape (the punishment of) Allah in the earth, nor can we escape Him by flight.

(75) Does man (a disbeliever) think that We shall not assemble his bones?

(76) Not [as you think, that you (mankind) will not be resurrected and recompensed for your deeds], but you (men) love the present life of this world,

(77) thinking that some calamity is about to fall on them.

(78) Does man think that he will be left neglected (without being punished or rewarded for the obligatory duties enjoined by his Lord Allah on him)?

(79) And round about them will (serve) boys of everlasting youth. If you see them, you would think them scattered pearls.

(80) As for him who thinks himself self-sufficient,
