(36) Or do they say: "(Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) is a poet! We await for him some calamity by time!"

(37) Say (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم to them): "wait! I am with you among the waiters!"

(38) So wait patiently (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) for the Decision of your Lord, for verily, you are under Our Eyes ; and glorify the Praises of your Lord when you get up from sleep.

(39) On the Day when the hypocrites - men and women - will say to the believers: "wait for us! Let us get something from your light!" It will be said: "Go back to your rear! Then seek a light!" So a wall will be put up between them, with a gate therein. Inside it will be mercy, and outside it will be torment."

(40) So wait with patience for the Decision of your Lord, and be not like the Companion of the Fish - when he cried out (to Us) while he was in deep sorrow. (See the Qur'an, Verse 21:87).
