(11) And the people of Nuh, when they rejected the apostles, We drowned them, and made them a sign for men, and We have prepared a painful punishment for the unjust;

(15) Then We drowned the others

(16) Allah sets forth an example: There is a slave in whom are (several) partners differing with one another, and there is another slave wholly owned by one man. Are the two alike in condition? (All) praise is due to Allah. Nay! most of them do not know.

(17) Then when they displeased Us, We inflicted a retribution on them, so We drowned them all together,

(18) And leave the sea intervening; surely they are a host that shall be drowned.

(19) Because of their wrongs they were drowned, then made to enter fire, so they did not find any helpers besides Allah.

(20) Then he frowned and scowled,
