(17) And Solomon was David's heir. And he said: O mankind! Lo! we have been taught the language of birds, and have been given (abundance) of all things. This surely is evident favour.

(18) And We have not taught him (Muhammad) poetry, nor is it meet for him. This is naught else than a Reminder and a Lecture making plain,

(19) And they had turned away from him and said: One taught (by others), a madman?

(20) Which one of mighty powers hath taught him,
