(235) 'There were some foolish ones among us, who used to utter extravagant lies against Allah;

(236) 'But we do think that no man or spirit should say aught that untrue against Allah.

(237) Then how shall ye, if ye deny (Allah), guard yourselves against a Day that will make children hoary-headed?-

(238) Nay, man will be evidence against himself,

(239) "(Which yields) no shade of coolness, and is of no use against the fierce Blaze.

(240) Now, if ye have a trick (or plot), use it against Me!
