(45) O you who believe! when believing women come to you flying, then examine them; Allah knows best their faith; then if you find them to be believing women, do not send them back to the unbelievers, neither are these (women) lawful for them, nor are those (men) lawful for them, and give them what they have spent; and no blame attaches to you in marrying them when you give them their dowries; and hold not to the ties of marriage of unbelieving women, and ask for what you have spent, and let them ask for what they have spent. That is Allah's judgment; He judges between you, and Allah is Knowing, Wise.

(46) Were it not that favor from his Lord had overtaken him, he would certainly have been cast down upon the naked Found while he was blamed.

(47) Except in the case of their wives or those whom their right hands possess-- for these surely are not to be blamed,

(48) And that we used to sit in some of the sitting-places thereof to steal a hearing, but he who would (try to) listen now would find a flame lying in wait for him:

(49) Neither having the coolness of the shade nor availing against the flame.

(50) And no blame is on you if he would not purify himself
