Expel them not from their houses nor let them go forth unless they commit open immorality. Such are the limits (imposed by) Allah; and whoso transgresseth Allah's limits, he verily wrongeth his soul. Thou knowest not: it may be that Allah will afterward bring some new thing to pass.

(283) Then, when they have reached their term, take them back in kindness or part from them in kindness, and call to witness two just men among you, and keep your testimony upright for Allah. Whoso believeth in Allah and the Last Day is exhorted to act thus. And whosoever keepeth his duty to Allah, Allah will appoint a way out for him,

(284) Lo! thy Lord is Best Aware of him who strayeth from His way, and He is Best Aware of those who walk aright.

(285) From Allah, Lord of the Ascending Stairways

(286) That ye may thread the valley-ways thereof.

(287) That We may test them thereby, and whoso turneth away from the remembrance of his Lord; He will thrust him into ever-growing torment.

(288) Lo! This is a Reminder. Let him who will, then, choose a way unto his Lord.

(289) Then turned he away in pride

(290) Why now turn they away from the Admonishment,
