(151) And many a town (population) revolted against the Command of its Lord and His Messengers; and We called it to a severe account (i.e. torment in this worldly life), and We shall punish it with a horrible torment (in Hell in the hereafter).

(152) So it tasted the evil result of its affair (disbelief), and the consequence of its affair (disbelief) was loss (destruction in this life and an eternal punishment in the hereafter).

(153) (It will be said in the hereafter) O you who disbelieve (in the Oneness of Allah - Islamic Monotheism)! Make no excuses this Day! You are being requited only for what you used to do.

(157) Such is the punishment (in this life), but truly, the punishment of the hereafter is greater if they but knew.

(158) Nay! But they fear not the hereafter (from Allah's punishment).

(159) And neglect the hereafter.

(160) You shall certainly travel from stage to stage (in this life and in the hereafter).
