(81) And those of your women as have passed the age of monthly courses, for them the 'Iddah (prescribed period), if you have doubt (about their periods), is three months; and for those who have no courses [(i.e. they are still immature) their 'Iddah (prescribed period) is three months likewise, except in case of death] . And for those who are pregnant (whether they are divorced or their husbands are dead), their 'Iddah (prescribed period) is until they lay down their burden; and whosoever fears Allah and keeps his duty to Him, He will make his matter easy for him.

(82) They say: "When will this promise (i.e. the Day of Resurrection) come to pass if you are telling the truth.?"

(83) Then there passed by on the (garden) a visitation (fire) from your Lord at night and burnt it while they were asleep.

(84) But whosoever seeks beyond that, then it is those who are trespassers.

(85) And amongst them will be passed round vessels of silver and cups of crystal -

(86) Surely, what you are promised must come to pass.

(87) And when the mountains are made to pass away;

(88) And, whenever they passed by them, used to wink one to another (in mockery).

(89) And Allah encompasses them from behind! (i.e. all their deeds are within His Knowledge, and He will requite them for their deeds).

(90) But he has not attempted to pass on the path that is steep (i.e. the path which will lead to goodness and success).
